As a Supervisor you will be responsible for developing an environment that creates excitement for internal and external guests.
In this position, you will also be responsible for creating “Real Life Magic” for our guests.
You will provide extraordinary guest service – going above and beyond in all situations.
The Supervisor is responsible for removing roadblocks & providing solutions to our associates & guests throughout a daily service, as well as guiding the team to real life magic opportunities.
While working with the outlet leadership, you will perform assigned duties, including but not limited to promoting associate satisfaction, increasing guest satisfaction, & contributing to resort profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position.
) Supervise wait staff on the floor and provide guidance and assistance when necessary Answer phones, assist with guests needs and take reservations Complete daily & weekly checklists, aligning with our resort operations & service standards Maintain accurate menu knowledge, including food, liquor, beer, wine & cocktails Assist with the upkeep of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness POS knowledge & usage Assist with training opportunities & holding the team accountable with leadership Attend weekly meetings as part of your leadership role, including but not limiting to scheduling & forecasting with leadership for the team Maintain an organized, clean, neat & professional workspace, including but not limited to your outlet & outlying areas Adheres to SOPs, including but not limited to phone etiquette, personal appearance, timing & attendance, guest interactions Ability to prioritize tasks to remove roadblocks, create solutions & provide world class guest experiences, using methods like LEAP Assist with using our RMS – sevenrooms for daily service, including but not limited to building accurate guest profiles contact information, preferences, information to create real life magic (anniversaries, birthdays, personal preferences, etc), the reservation process from taking a request to confirm to complete reservation Perform daily huddles with the team, to provide quality information that is accurate & relevant to their daily service, including VIPs, reviewing & demonstrating service standards, checking resort knowledge, etc.
Other duties needed, outside of specific job role KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Friendly, out-going personality.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to stand up to 8 hours at a time Must be able to speak the English language fluently.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
Must be able to handle high-pressure situations.
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience Must be able to work a variety of shifts – including holidays, weekends, evenings, etc.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks.
Ability to interface professionally with business contacts and customers Strong understanding of hospitality industry helpful.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as through a minimum of 2 years of experience in a guest service role.
