LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Responsibilities: * Apply basic clinical nursing principles, practices and procedures and participate in delivery of basic nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Assist in the development of patient care plans and the assessment of patient needs.
* Assist with the collection of patient identification data, operational and equipment inventories, supply inventory, scheduling and reporting activities.
* Assist other nursing personnel as needed.
* Communicate effectively with physician, nurses, other personnel and other health care professionals.
* Demonstrate knowledge of infection control practices, interpretation of laboratory data and assessment techniques.
* Demonstrate knowledge of communication techniques appropriate to the delivery of health information to patients and other persons in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
* Utilize proper techniques as assigned to properly assist bedridden patients.
* Stand for extended periods or walk for extended periods of time.
* Lift, carry or move patients.
* Outside travel required.
* Work a flexible schedule to include nights.
