Billing Analyst

Job Description Job Profile: Billing Analyst Reports to: Accounting Manager Direct Reports: N/A Hours: 37.
5 hours, Permanent Full Time Location: Greystone Start Date: As soon as possible Closing Date: open until filled; review of candidates ongoing.
Position Summary As the Billing Analyst, you will be working as part of a team that reports to the Accounting Manager.
You will process all payments received from Alberta Health Care, WCB, and all third-party vendors and manage all invoicing.

Manage all billing changes related to SOMB or new contracts.
Review billing procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
Review daily error reports.
Generate and send out invoices.
Collect and allocate payments.
Prepare weekly bank deposits.
Generate patient reimbursements as required.
Investigate and resolve customer queries.
Complete month end tasks in a timely manner.
Constant communication with organization staff.
Maintain the utmost professional confidentiality of patient information and/or results.
Other tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications Business Administration diploma.
Previous experience with Great Plains an asset.
Previous experience in a medical billing environment.
Previous experience in accounting administration and accounts receivable required.
