Primary Responsibilities:
Provides and manages remote patient care with strong diagnostic acumen, using audio and visual technology to complete patient examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Documenting/Charting patient information in line with current policies and procedures.
Provides preventative and wellness care for all ages 2 and up.
Delivers holistic, patient-centered care with continuity as the identified primary care physician.
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately through audio visual consultations with patients and able to address patient concerns through these medias.
Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
Communicates with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
Educate patients on the risks and benefits of treatments ensuring the patient is a part of the decision-making process.
Supervision of advanced practice clinicians when appropriate and abide by all associated rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (M.
D.
) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.
O.
) required
Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice
Valid DEA required with no restrictions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
Minimum of two (2) years of in person clinical experience practicing as a Physician outside of residency.
Possess an awareness and a working understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions.
Possess a working understanding and support of a managed care environment.
Experience using audio/visual technology or video conferencing platforms.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health plans.
Must have access to high-speed internet and phone lines.
Must have TX license and at least 5 other state licenses
