Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Sales manager to lead and drive our sales efforts.
As the Global Sales manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global sales strategy, managing a high-performing sales team, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners.
This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and objectives.
This includes identifying new market opportunities, refining pricing strategies, and adapting to changing industry trends.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a global sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve individual and team targets.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by setting ambitious sales targets and consistently exceeding them.
Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent progress towards goals.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
Collaborate with the customer success and support teams to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Use this information to adapt the sales strategy and identify new avenues for growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Strategy & Growth, Product, PMO, and Vendor teams to align sales efforts with product enhancements, marketing campaigns, and operational efficiencies.
Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to senior leadership.
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and guide the sales team effectively.
Sales Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine the sales process to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
Implement best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance sales effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications
Task Related skills and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in progressively responsible sales roles, with at least 3-5 years in sales leadership or managing positions within the SAAS technology industry.
Competencies and Soft Skills
Strong understanding of SAAS business models, technology trends, and competitive landscape.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and guide a high-performing sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy.
Global market experience and the ability to adapt strategies to various cultural and regional contexts.
