Job Title: Licensed Professional Surveyor
General Statement of Duties (Job Posting Purposes):
Initiates and completes both preliminary and final land surveys and ensure the accuracy of surveys reflect the integrity of design and meets all requirements.
Perform project management duties.
Review survey data and certify plans.
Ensure a smooth interface with other disciplines with the company and project team.

Compiles field notes, sketches and records data obtained, and work performed.
Sets up and operates Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment.
Analyze and draft legal descriptions.
Compute property boundaries.
Attend Municipal meetings for project approvals.
Successfully meet project deadlines.
All necessary field work while also working with clients and on client development.
Obtain safety training certifications when applicable.
Experience Requirements:
Professional Surveyor (P.
S), or Professional Licensed Surveyor (P.
L.
S.
) in WV, OH or PA is required (with ability to obtain all)
Experience with property title research and organizational skills for researching previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain necessary data for surveys.
Four years of related industry experience is desired.
Must have marketing/business development skills/experience.
Marking/Business Development experience, with a Doer/Seller ability/attitude.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work outdoors, occasionally under adverse weather conditions.
Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of Trimble equipment and software.
Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson Software is a plus.
Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record.
Must be reliable, a team player, and detail focused.
Must be able to lift/carry 30 lbs.
consistently, and stand/walk outside for long periods of time.
Education:
High School Diploma
2-year associate degree in surveying in preferred.
